Health-related lifestyle of Roma
This publication is a valuable contribution to understanding health as a basic individual and social value but also a fundamental human right. The right to health is formally acknowledged as one of key economic, social and cultural rights. Already Article 25 of the Universal declaration of human rights (1948) reads: “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services.”
