Public Health Achievements in Slovenia

In this publication, we present an overview of public health activities and significant achievements in public health in Slovenia. It showcases the key pillars of public health: the monitoring and information system, including the health information system and digital innovations in healthcare, scientific research and educational activities, as well as a wide range of public health services and public health laboratories. It also includes activities to support the healthcare system and its development, describes the important role and significance of civil society, and Slovenia's contribution to international development activities for health. The publication is intended for the domestic and international general and professional public, as well as decision-makers at various levels and sectors of society. With this publication, we aim to present the breadth and diversity of activities carried out in Slovenia to promote, protect, and improve the health of the population.
